A life on Bali’s ocean wave with Waka Cruise

If there is anywhere in the world where island and ocean life are synonymous and come together then it has to be Bali and I was fortunate enough to experience both on my recent visit by experiencing a cruise with the awesome Waka Cruise.

The Waka sailing catamaran is without question a statement in style and luxury and chance to live the life of the rich and famous on a 16 meter sailing machine which will deliver you across the Badung Straight to Lembongan Island and Waka’s awesome Waka Nusa resort and also down the coast to east Bali and Candi Dasa.
The Waka was especially built in Bali at Serangan Island, designed by an Englishman and built by Balinese, offering a large spacious cabin able to accommodate 20 people seated and up to 10 outside.
The voyage to the Lembongan Island takes approximately two hours motor sailing or to east Bali the same and on the way complimentary fresh cakes, Bali coffee, soft drinks and tea are served  and at Waka Nusa guests can enjoy  snorkelling, reef viewing from glass bottom boat, a village tour of seaweed farms and the famous underground house, table tennis, volley ball yard, chess, bicycles, boogie boards, canoe, swimming pool or just lazing in the sun, ready for that gourmet lunch with a glass of wine or beer!

Waka also offer what I think is one of the most romantic dinner cruises in Bali, an experience in elegance and fine dining, with soft music, a friendly romantic atmosphere, great style and of course, excellent cuisine - truly a harbour dinner cruise with a difference.
Nothing is compromised because of being on a boat, with white linen and superb service as you dine under the Balinese heavens and the cruise is leisurely and stable, around Benoa harbour, enjoying pre dinner drinks and watching the spectacular sunset then being taken you to a secluded spot, where the vessel moors while you and the other guests are seated for dinner.
The food is first rate and features a choice of local seafood, meats, crisp salads and both international and Balinese dishes, which are superbly presented.
The Waka Dinner Cruise is an intimate, romantic experience, one never to be forgotten as a part of a holiday in Bali.
The join me in experiencing a Waka day cruise and meeting Waka’s Director of Sale, Fardia Suwako who also reveals more about this great company Waka and its amazing hotels and resorts and of course Waka Cruise.
